This Call to Action highlights gaps in cessation services from a national and California perspective for California Cancer Centers and providers, and identifies opportunities and resources for improving tobacco treatment and cessation services in oncology settings.

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing endorses Tobacco Free Colleges of Nursing. April 19, 2016 – The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) announced "that the deans of the nation’s baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs have endorsed a resolution calling for smoke-free college campuses. This call to action was issued to mobilize support among nurse educators for promoting tobacco-free policies at colleges and universities nationwide in an effort to promote healthy behaviors and save lives."announced the endorsing of a resolution calling for smoke-free college campuses.
